Manchester united 3-1 Arsenal: Rashford shines as Man Utd break Arsenal’s unbeaten record

Arsenal was hoping to continue their 100% record in the 2022-23 Premier League so far, following wins against Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Bournemouth, Fulham and Aston Villa when they came to Old Trafford. However, that wasn’t the case as their hopes were dashed following Erik Ten Hag’s squad’s impressive football and fourth consecutive EPL game win.

In a thrilling match on Sunday, Manchester United ended Arsenal’s unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign.

Arsenal thought they had taken the lead after a strong start from both teams when Gabriel Martinelli finished a dangerous counterattack. Still, VAR disallowed the goal for a prior foul on Christian Eriksen.

After that, Arsenal regained control, but United ripped apart the Gunners on the break, with Antony scoring his first goal since joining for €100 million from Ajax after a Rashford leap.

For Arsenal, Bukayo Saka had equalised in the second half, and then Marcus Rashford scored twice to give Erik Ten Hag’s Man Utd yet another win.

It was another huge win for Manchester United and Arsenal’s first defeat of the season.
