2Face Idibia, a renowned musician, pleads for the release of Ice Prince, another performer who is jailed in Ikoyi for assaulting a police officer.
Recall that the artist was previously detained for assault and threatening police after being suspected of using an unregistered vehicle.
After his arraignment, 2Face called for the singer’s release while emphasising the protests against the government, which he claimed to be also in the police’s favour.
Ice Prince, the rapper, is reportedly transfered to Ikoyi prison in Lagos amidst his pending bail.
“Has it become a crime to be a young person in this country??? Every protest and struggle is also for u to have better pay and equipment and proper retirement benefits,” he wrote in an Instastory post.
