Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Opeyemi Gbenga Kayode, popularly known as Pepenazi, has turned preacher after his break from music.
The artist has been off the spotlight for a few years. This absence from the music industry had caused quite a stir among his fans and followers who pondered about his whereabouts and well-being. However, the Illegal crooner seems o have embraced a new life in Christ.
The Afrobeat singer who was spotted preaching in a video he shared on his Instastory, had hits which rocked Nigerian airwaves years ago.
He also collaborated with Olamide, Reminisce and other Nigerian superstars.
In the video, the one-time Headies “Rookie of the year” nominee was captured quoting the scriptures while holding a Holy Bible and fans have expressed their surprise at the new change. Watch the video below;
