Celebrity fashion designer and stylist Toyin Lawani has blasted the organisers of the biggest reality show in Africa, Big Brother Naija for the shocking eviction of Hermes Iyele.
We reported on Sunday night that mixed reactions followed the dismissal of Hermes, who many saw as a top contender for the grand prize.
Excluding the riders, 6 housemates were placed for possible eviction; Adekunle, Bella, Sheggz, Groovy, Bryann and Hermes.
Three housemates were evicted during the pre-final eviction show. During the Sunday live eviction night, Groovy, Sheggz and Hermes were evicted, respectively.
The eviction of Hermes came as a surprise to the viewers, who believed he was one of the strongest contenders in the Level Up season of BBNaija.
Fans had taken to social media to express their dismay in the show’s organizers as they alleged that the voting process was manipulated, while some claimed Hermes fans did not mobilize well enough to vote for him.
Joining them in deplore his eviction, Toyin Lawani dragged the organisers for rigging the votes.
She stated that the organisers pulled a shocking move on them as she was yet to get over his eviction.
Toyin Lawani, however, declared her support for Hermes as she crowned him her winner.
“Big Brother ti ripe wa o. They pulled a big joke on us, I still can’t believe it. Still heartbroken, I looked around and I saw many worthy candidates bit you still stood out. @hermesiyele win of lose you are a winner. Thank God to Big Brother for giving you this platform to share your amazing soul with us, Now it’s time for you to shine, it’s not about who won atimes, You are A STAR and your time starts now”.
