“Can someone tell our mothers that nothing dey streets currently” – Vee tells mothers pressurizing their daughters into marriage

Vee Iye, a BBNaija star, has expressed her regret about the persistent pressure Nigerian mothers put on their daughters to get married.

Vee recently revealed in a Tweet that her mother frequently reminds her of how married and with a child she was when she was her age.

The singer pleaded for someone to please inform Nigerian mothers that there are currently no men on the streets.

“MY MUM NEVER FAILS TO TELL ME THAT AT MY AGE, SHE WAS MARRIED WITH A CHILD. CAN SOMEONE TELL OUR NIGERIAN MOTHERS THAT NOTHING DEY STREETS CURRENTLY? THE PRESSURE IS TRULY GETTING WORSE”
