“Abeg I’m scared o, I can’t swim” Laura Ikeji reacts as Lagos puts Ikoyi, Lekki, Victoria Island residents on red alert

Laura Ikeja, a Nigerian influencer, reacts after Lagos State issues a flood warning for certain areas on Lagos Island.

On Tuesday, October 25th, a new update was sent to all waterfront residents of affluent Ikoyi, Lekki, and Victoria Island.

Due to the high tide in Lagos Lagoon, the coastal areas of Epe and Badagry were not left out.

The warning was issued by the State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tunji Bello.

Reacting to the news, the mother-of-2 asked the government how they are preparing for the occurrence and how, they, as individuals are supposed to prepare.

She maintained that she does not care about properties, but she does have kids to take care of.

She adds that she is scared and cannot swim.
