Heavyweight Nigerian recording and performing acts, Burna Boy, Fireboy DML and Rema continue their rapid rise to the top of African music royalty.
The Grammy wiining singer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally called Burna Boy, YBNL Nation superstar, Adedamola Adefolahan a.k.a Fireboy DML and Mavin Records prodigy, Divine Ikubor, widely known as Rema have been nominated at France’s biggest awarding society, NRJ.
Known in full as Nouvelle Radio des Jeunes, (NRJ) happens to be the awarding society is regarded as the highest in France and is presented by the French radio station NRJ to honor the best in the French and worldwide music industry.
Rema secured three nominations for ‘Best International Collaboration’ with ‘Calm Down Remix’ featuring Selena Gomez, ‘International Revelation Artiste’ as well as ‘International Song of the Year’ with Calm Down. Burna Boy similarly got nominated under the category of Best International Collaboration.
