Reprudencia Sonkey, better known as Dencia, a controversial singer, has criticized Nigerian voters for their voting decisions during elections.
The Cameroonian-born entrepreneur and fashion designer used Instagram stories to condemn those who impose their preferred political candidates on others.

Shading the electorates, she stated that it makes no difference who is elected because they will insult the person in six months.
“Why do people try to force people to vote for people they support?” Like, oh, your candidate is the best? Well, no matter who you vote for, you’ll still insult them 6 months later. Our vote is meaningless; stay at home and save your gas!! Denicia wrote.
Netizens are not amused by Dencia’s remark; they wonder what moral standard she holds to question electorates without first considering her country.

@cruiseloaded: Hahaha One of those politicians could be her s-daddy.
@Sendiam nonvin: Her comment here exemplifies the problem we face as Nigerians; such a bad mindset, and she’s regarded as a socialite abi na celeb. Such a person should not be paid attention to.
