Cynthia Morgan, a Nigerian dancehall singer, has accused Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy and other singers of ignoring her when she was a rising star.
The singer revealed this on her official Instagram page, where she also accused industry entertainers of being fake.
Morgan also called out singers; Omawumi, Flavour, Seyi Shay and Tiwa Savage, while responding to a singer identified as Kussman who accused her of wrongdoings.
In response, Cynthia posted his comment on her Instagram story and claimed that she was also snubbed by Don Jazzy, Omaumi and Helen Paul and Flavour.
She wrote; “Isn’t this witchcraft, in Boradday light? Did I ever tell you how I was snubbed by Omawunmi, Helen Paul and Flavour in my upcoming days? Even Don Jazzy? Lol some people are pathetic. And these were all entertainers like me. Not to talk of you that I don’t even know from anywhere. Nawa.”
The singer who changed her name to Madrina further alleged that Tiwa Savage wanted her to stress herself to perform even when she was not in the right frame of mind, whereas Seyi Shay only reached out to her whenever she needed help fighting Tiwa Savage or assistance with songwriting.
“Tiwa Savage said it in her interview with Ebuka. ‘I called Cynthia Morgan for my show, she didn’t come’. Really? Even after I told you I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to perform? You def would have preferred if my enemy slumped on stage.. Stupid industry. You think I am fake like you all?” Cynthia wrote.
