It is good to know that the actress had a fabulous time as she had thrown shade at some of her colleagues who ignored her birthday.
Ever the queen of shade, Laide Bakare took to her Instagram page to subtly drag them.
She stated that she isn’t created to please others, and as such, she would be happy, live happily and focus on pleasing herself.
Laide added that if others don’t like it, she will let them be, as happiness is a choice.
The controversial actress revealed that the moment she learnt to be happy in doing her things, the day she felt accomplished.
Laide reemphasised that pleasing everyone will never be her responsibility, and if they don’t like her, it isn’t her problem.
“You’re not created to please others, live to be happy and focus on pleasing yourself. Be happy, be yourself. If others don’t like it, let them be. Happiness is a choice. The moment I learnt to be happy in doing my things. I felt accomplished. Pleasing everyone is never my responsibility, if they like you fine and if they don’t, that’s their problem not yours. Happy mood because it is my birthday and happy mood As I’m about to publish the awaiting book. Thankful to God for making me to see another year, Happy Birthday to me”.
