Lanre Gentry, ex-husband of actress Mercy Aigbe, has thrown a party in remembrance of his late mother Veronica Gentry.
Lanre posted a video from the event on Instagram on Wednesday, October 26.
In the video, a portrait of the woman was placed on a table with speakers and music playing in the background.
Captioning his post, he wrote: “My mother may your soul continue to rest in peace. Late Madam Veronica Gentry. In remembrance of a great woman today!”
Lanre and his new wife, Oluwabusayo celebrated their first year anniversary on September 11, 2022.
The businessman posted a photo of himself and his wife on Instagram to mark the anniversary .
He captioned the photos saying,“Today makes it one year of our marriage. 11th September 2021, in God I trust and I will always glorify Him. Without Him, who am i? Thank God for the gift of life. Happy Sunday.”
Mr Gentry tied the knot with Oluwabusayo on Saturday, September 11, 2021, in a ceremony that was attended by family friends and fans of the businessman.
Mercy Aigbe and Lanre separated over claims of domestic violence.
The ex-couple has a son together.
