Toyin Abraham, a popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker, has responded to Bola Tinubu’s recent video in which he clearly stated that he is strong and healthy, dismissing rumors that he is dead.

In a tweet on Sunday, the former governor of Lagos State also denied reports that he had dropped out of the presidential race in 2023. The tweet was accompanied by a video of him exercising on a fitness bike.

“Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign,” he wrote. No, not at all.

“This is the truth: I am strong, healthy, and READY to serve Nigerians from the start.”

Toyin Abraham, who has stated that she is not campaigning for Tinubu, responded by posting the same video on her verified Instagram with the caption, “The APC presidential candidate is indeed hale and hearty.”

The mother of one urged her followers to grant Bola Tinubu the benefit of doubts, particularly regarding his health.

“Is there anything else Tinubu needs to do to prove he is not dying today?” I’m not campaigning for anyone, just jumping on a hot topic o. “I am just a responsible citizen with PVC and the ability to vote for whomever I want,” Toyin Abraham wrote.

Concerns were raised about Tinubu’s whereabouts after he failed to show up for the peace accord signed by presidential candidates in the upcoming 2023 election. His running mate and former governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, was present at the event.

Ayo Oyalowo, a member of the APC presidential campaign council, explained Tinubu’s absence by saying he had gone to London to rest.

However, it is unclear whether the presidential candidate’s Twitter video was shot in London or at his Lagos home.
