Why I don’t respond to a lot of things on and off social media — Toyin Abraham opens up

“Many at times, people are unaware of what happens behind closed doors.” Making a film, bringing together creative minds, creating a project, and then putting it out there for thousands to see.

I’ve been slammed, gotten a lot of criticism, and yes, a lot of praise over the years, and I’m happy to say that I’ve taken it all in, and I’m fully back as a filmmaker. When I say I’m back, I mean it, and I’m not leaving any stone unturned. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my cast and crew, as well as everyone who came out to support me.

To all of my supporters, without you, there would be no me. You are all true Titans. God, please give me the wisdom and strength to navigate this journey as a mother and wife. I will be eternally grateful. This is only the start. Finally, IJAKUMO (The Born-Again Stripper) will be released in theaters on December 23rd… December is going to be littttttttttttttt.
