Wizkid Becomes First African Artiste To Achieve This Feat On Spotify

Globally recognized musician and entertainer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally called, Wizkid continues his rapid rise to the top of African music royalty.

The highly rated Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performing artiste bagged another global career milestone on the global audio streaming platform and media services provider, Spotify.


The Starboy Entertainment headline act who recently became the only African artiste in history to spend a total of 100 weeks on the Billboard World Albums Chart with his ‘Made in Lagos’ album has set another record on Spotify.


According to chartdata official page on the bird app, the ‘Bad To Me’ hit-maker has surpassed a 5 billion total streams on Spotify across all credits. This feat makes him the first African act to reach this milestone.wizkid 1
