Tony Sexwale, 69, of South Africa, married his stunning girlfriend, Nataxa Da Silva, 24, over the weekend, and images from their wedding were published on social media.
The couple’s age difference, on the other hand, has sent tongues spinning on social media, with many arguing that their union appears to be more of a financial transaction than a love-bound one.
Quite a couple of netizens have likened their situation to that of a Nigerian couple, Prince Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniels as they talk about the age gap between the latest couple.
Sometime last year, the sexagenarian left a lot of people in absolute shock when his much younger girlfriend was revealed to the public.
Tokyo Sexwale was previously married for 20 years, to Judy van Vuuren. They got divorced in 2014. A while after his divorce, he dated Nataxa da Silva which means she was only 16 years old when they started dating.
The couple has a son together and they have been together since Tokyo’s divorce.
