Toyin Lawani, also known as Tiannah, a celebrity stylist, has responded to her criticism after misspelling the name of late Hollywood actor Chadwick Boseman, who played a prominent role in Black Panther.
According to Kemi Filani News, the sequel to Blank Panther: Wakanda Forever opened on Sunday night, November 6th, and celebs brought their A-game to the red carpet as they channeled their inner ‘Wakanda’ spirit.
Big Brother Naija Season 7 ex-housemate Hermes, who was one of the Best dressed at the event, wore a costume which paid tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman.
However, Toyin Lawani, who styled Hermes for the night, misspelled the deceased’s name. The stylist inscribed ‘Chad Boswick’ on his cape, rather than Chadwick Boseman.
Following the noticeable error by Toyin Lawani, her colleague, Jeffrey Uzor called for her to be put behind bars.
He wrote: ‘Chad Boswick? pls Tiannah needs to be put behind bars”.
Also, Reality TV star, Victoria Adeneye is better known as Veeiye also reacted to the error. According to her, the error got her laughing all day.
She wrote, “Chad Boswick’ has been killing me all day”.
Reacting to the series of backlashes she has received following the visible error on Hermes’s outfit, Toyin Lawani shared a video of herself, as she advised her latest show in London. In her caption she noted that she has no time for naysayers because who God has blessed, no can can cause.
“No time for naysayers, who God don bless he don bless, We keep moving forward, it’s been a Dream and it’s happening guys”, she wrote.
