Actress Uche Ebere has warned women against waiting until they have a source of income before getting married.
Uche frowned at advisers who tell women they have no business getting married if they do not have a source of income, so that they can have something to fall back on in case of emergencies.
Reacting, Uche told women to get married if they have a suitor, even if they do not have jobs.
She said a woman can still get a job when married but that suitor might be her only chance at getting married.
“Everybody now trying to be teaching things about marriage with the little or no knowledge at all, my dear even if you don’t have money or have something doing as a lady and marriage comes Knocking, marry ooo cos it might be your last chance, you will still have something doing in your husband’s home and be getting your own money too, that you’re married as a woman doesn’t stop you from getting something doing and getting your own money”, she said.
