According to Kemi Filani news, the singer was chastised for the provocative outfit she wore to the Meta concert.

The Mavins singer who was one of the performers of the night, had rocked a mini-skirt on stage. Ayra rocked a very tiny skirt, a small top and her signature high boots
The skirt which had barely covered up her private parts had created uproar on social media.
While some defended her choiced outfit, others condemned it.
Reacting to the backlash, Ayra Starr apologised to Nigerians over the outfit.
In a viral clip, the younger sister of Tems could be heard promising her fans never to wear short skirts again.
Making a u-turn, Ayra Starr has slammed her critics.
In an Instagram live session with her fans, she promised to keep wearing the outfit.
Telling them to mind their business, she let them know that she doesn’t care about their criticisms.
No judgement on my platform. I am only going to say this once I no send your mama, papa, uncle, aunty, brother. I go wear my mini skirts, anywhere I want, anytime I want, anyway I want. So mind your goddam business.
