In a recent interview, popular Nigerian musician Inetimi Timaya Odon, widely known as Timaya, stated that he had no intention of ever getting married in his life.
Timaya, a happy father of four children born by three separate baby mamas, stated this when explaining why marriages nowadays do not survive as long as those of our parents.
According to Timaya, marriages these days have not been successful because most young people that are getting married in this era do not even know why they need to get marry.
Speaking further, the “Cold Outside” crooner uttered that marriage is beautiful but most people make it look bad as the divorce rate of marriages have been on the surge in the country.
Timaya admitted that most people that entered marriage do not know that it comes responsibilities and by extension it resulted into a dead end as they do not fully understand it before they tied the knot.
