Years after leaving Mavin, singer Korede Bello claims he has not been signed by a record company.
He stated this during a radio interview, while also stating that he is no longer signed to Mavin Records due to the expiration of their contractual arrangement.
Bello was said to have discreetly quit Don Jazzy’s label in 2017.
The ‘Godwin’ hit maker revealed he is however in partnership with a digital distribution firm known as ONErpm.
Korede Bello also said that though he is not an artiste under Mavin Records, he is still a Mavin at heart.
Speaking on whether he is still interested in being signed to another music label, the singer explained that in the past, musicians needed labels to help with production, promotion and distribution, but that is no longer he case.
Korede said there are digital stores for music, so the focus is on getting distribution companies to put the project on platforms.
