“Davido he gave me his expensive outfit” – Oxlade narrates encounter (Video)

Oxlade, a Nigerian Afropop musician, has revealed his first experience with Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, commonly known as Davido.

The musician said that when he saw Davido, the DMW chairman handed him a whole suit from his costly clothing collection.

During a talk, Oxlade said that their encounter began with him releasing a song with Fireboy DML years ago.

He explained that he and Fireboy recorded and leaked a song when he just got signed to YBNL Nation because they believed the song would not be accepted by the label.

After the song titled ‘Sing’ dropped, Davido heard it and commented about how he listens to the song on repeat.

The Away crooner also took to Twitter to say; ”Where has Oxlade been all my life?” Oxlade said he was sleeping when a friend woke him up to see that Davido tweeted about him.

He said OBO invited him to his house, gave him a complete set of clothes from his wardrobe, and took him out that same night.

Oxlade said he also met Burna Boy and some other top shots that night and he realised that his time to shine had come.
