Popular Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko has triggered reactions among internet users over her harsh response to a netizen who threatened to unfollow her on all social media platforms due to a post she made about the Argentine football star, Lionel Messi.
Following Argentina’s World Cup win with Messi bagging the Golden Ball award as the ‘Best Player of the Tournament’, Destiny Etiko took to her Instagram page where she shared a photo Of Lionel Messi holding his Golden Ball award and kissing the World Cup trophy.
Sharing the photo, she wrote:
“G.O.A.T 💪💫💪❤️👑
A WINNER 🏆 🥇 🏅
Humility personified 💫🌎”
In reaction to the post, a follower identified as temple_toobam vented strongly and further threatened to unfollow her on various social media platforms.
The commenter wrote:
“So you no follow Ronaldo I wan go unfollow you for all social media”
In reaction, Destiny Etiko who didn’t find the comment funny vexed over the statement and threatened to block the user immediately.
She wrote: “@temple_toobam me sef go block u now…mugu”
Her response consequently triggered reactions from other IG users who chipped in their thought as regards the unfriendly exchange.
