“Anywhere I find true love, I will pack my bags and move there, I am ready” – Jennifer Obodo opens up

Jennifer Obodo, a rising Nigerian actress, has stated that if approached by a producer to bare it all for the cameras, she is willing to compromise.

The Abuja based script Interpreter in a recent interview said, “I am very selective of the movie roles I accept but I am yet to see myself feature in a movie where I have to go stack naked. However, I doubt it because my body is my pride. Accepting such jobs will be difficult, but this is not an industry where you can say ‘Never’.

So, anything can happen. In this industry, two things stand me out; I am unapologetically me and I am 100% confident in myself. I enjoy this best part of being a popular face; being recognized locally and globally, then getting various opportunities, having supporting fans, getting special treatment everywhere you go and the paparazzi.”

After the marriage of her colleagues Frederick Leonard married Peggy Ovire, Jennifer Obodo says she feel inspired to also marry an actor, if she finds true love within the industry.

“Anywhere I find true love, I will pack my bags and move there, where it’s inside or outside Nollywood. As long as he meets my standard and avoid my relationship turn offs, which are refusal to admit that you have done something wrong, never apologizing and constantly playing the victim.  Also selfishness, insecurity and pompousness is huge turn off.

The light skinned leggy actress added that although she doesn’t have special plans for Christmas, she is ready for any dull moment.

“My Christmas holidays are never boring because I have the best of friends that never dull any moment.”
