Ladipo Eso, also known as Ladipoe or Poe, is a Nigerian rapper and musician. On February 28, 2017, he signed with Don Jazzy’s Mavins Records, which enhanced his career.
After his signing, he gained fame when SDC’s “Show Dem Camp” featured him in the song “Feel Alright.” Following the release of his new single, “Jaiye,” he dropped the successful song “Know You” with Simi, a Nigerian Joromi artist.

Early Life
Ladipo Eso (born April 29, 1992, 33 years old) is from Ilesa in Osun State. He was raised by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eso. The Eso family lived in Lagos City.
The rapper Ladipo Eso, who also had a Christian upbringing, was given that name by his parents. He spent in Nigeria’s economic hub, finishing his elementary and secondary education before moving abroad to pursue his academic education.
As a young kid, he discovered music and, along with his pals Jeffrey and Kurt, co-founded the band Lyrically Equipped.
Career
After Don Jazzy changed its name from Mo’Hits to Mavin Records in 2012, Poe was the first rapper to sign with the label. Poe recorded a single titled Man Already, produced by Altims, which was his debut.
His inspiration comes from Little Brother, Lupe Fiasco, and Slum Village. In 2021, his track “Feeling,” featuring his colleague Bnxn, peaked at the top of the TurnTable Top 50 chart.
On Season 6 of Big Brother Naija, he sang “Feeling.” The song “Feeling” gained popularity and became a staple in South African nightclubs. It is currently the most popular African song on the internet.
In November 2021, He told The Guardian Nigeria that he was informed when he first started his musical career that rapping had lost meaning in Nigeria.

The rapper owns a fleet of exotic vehicles and lives in one of Lagos’s affluent neighbourhoods. He and his pals established the musical group Collectiv3, and he is a member of it.
He had participated in Lyrically Equipped throughout college, a group he co-founded with his friends Kurt and Jeffery.
