Ruger, an Afrobeats star, has invited his fans to join him live at the GOtv Boxing Night 27 on December 26 at the Bafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.
In a video message to the organizers, the singer stated that he would be performing at Africa’s largest boxing event.
“What’s up my people, it’s Ruger,” Ruger said in the short video.
“I’d like to invite you to Africa’s largest boxing show, which will take place on Boxing Day at Tafawa Balewa Square. Boxing on GOtv with Supa Komando energy drink.”
The event, organized by FlyKite Productions, will include six local and international boxing bouts as well as musical performances by selected Nigerian artists.
Pheelz, 9ice, Chinko Ekun, and internationally recognized deejay, DJ Xclusive, are also scheduled to perform at the show.
According to Ayomide Oriade, Senior Public Relations Specialist, the main boxing match of the night is the World Boxing Federation (WBF) title fight between Nigeria’s Taiwo “Esepor” Agbaje and Richard Taruc Pumicpic of the Philippines.
GOtv Boxing Night 27 will be broadcast live on SuperSport in 50 African countries, sponsored by GOtv and supported by Supa Komando.
