Nigerian rapper, Ycee, fumes at Wizkid for his comeback at the Nigerian rap industry.
Few days ago, we reported Wizkid’s bemoaning expression towards the rap genre in Nigerian, an opinion that labeled the industry a dead one, and it augured badly amongst Nigerian rappers.
The aftermath of his statement, led to different counter opinion from these same Nigerian rappers and their proofs to uphold their healthy career. Some of them were the likes of MI ABAGA, Blaqbonez, Ladipoe etc.
Few days after, Wizkid hopped on his Snapchat story to reinforce his retorted speech that claimed rap is dead in Nigeria.
Ycee, a Nigerian rapper who is offended by Wizkid’s expression, tweeted on the insensitivity of the Grammy award winner.
Ycee opined that the rap industry is not funded as the other genre of music despite the hardwork of these rappers and he’s still mocking them. Tagged it as improper.
