Conte makes up his mind about dumping Tottenham end of the Season

BREAKING: Antonio Conte leaves his role as Inter Milan manager by mutual consent

Antonio Conte, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, is set to leave the Premier League at the end of this season.

According to Italian media, Conte has little desire to stay at the north London club.

The 53-year-contract old’s expires in the summer, at which point Spurs can trigger a one-year extension, though neither party appears eager to continue their relationship.

Conte has already decided to return to Italy, according to Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, and Tottenham have no intention of keeping a manager who does not want to be at the club.

‘The news I can tell you with certainty is that Antonio Conte will leave Tottenham at the end of the season,’ Di Marzio said on his L’Originale show.

‘There was no spark, his contract is expiring and the club has not asked him for a renewal.

‘The club does not appreciate the frequent jabs. Conte wants his players to win, but the club prefers to trade them, so things haven’t worked out.

‘Among other things, his family has remained in Italy.’

Spurs have had a very mixed season, and despite remaining in contention for the top four – they are only six points behind third-placed Newcastle – there have been some concerns about performances and Conte’s style of play.
