With his successful record, ‘Fall,’ Nigerian afro-fusion superstar Davido has achieved an exceptional milestone in the United States of America.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has certified the DMW boss’s single ‘Fall’ platinum after it sold over a million copies in the United States.
Davido received the platinum plaque for the song three years after it was released, thanks to the outstanding production of sound engineer Kiddominant. On May 28, 2020, the RIAA certified ‘Fall’ as Gold.
Davido is one of the leading African performers in the Afrobeats genre. Songs like ‘IF,’ ‘FALL,’ ‘Like That,’ ‘FIA,’ and ‘Stand Strong’ confirm his international domination.
Davido now joins his Nigerian compatriots, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Ckay, and Tems as platinum plaque holders.
