Media mogul Raymond Dokpesi released following temporary detention at Heathrow Airport

Raymond Dokpesi, the Nigerian media mogul, was released today after being temporarily detained at London’s Heathrow Airport.

The founder and former Chairman of Daar Communications was detained by immigration after arriving on a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt on Sunday. The reasons for his detention were unclear.

Recall The Nigerian media mogul, who is the deputy director-general of Abubakar’s presidential campaign council’s technical and systems division, was invited off the plane before other passengers.



He was then held up by immigration and airport officials before his passport was stamped and he was allowed to enter the country.
