JUST IN: AIT founder Raymond Dokpesi is dead

Raymond Dokpesi, a media mogul, is said to have died.

Mr. Dokpesi, the founder of DAAR Communications and the owner of Africa Independent Television and Raypower FM, died in Abuja on Monday morning.

According to a source, Mr Dokpesi died while exercising on his personal treadmill.


A source who spoke with our correspondent revealed he died in an Abuja hospital after he suffered a stroke. This reportedly happened after the recent Ramadan fast.



The AIT boss had since then been managing his health and was placed on occupational therapy to improve his daily activities before his sudden death.
