Reno Omokri, a socio-political commentator, has slammed Labour Party presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi following the low turnout at his presidential rally in Ekiti and Osun states.
Reno claimed Mr Obi heeded his advice by not holding his Osun State rally in a stadium, which would have resulted in a sparsely populated rally similar to that of Ekiti.
On Twitter, Reno wrote: “On Peter Obi. You finally listened to wise counsel by not holding your Osun rally in a stadium. This backyard fits you better. Leave stadia for real contestants. People who are contesting for Presidency of Onitsha Market Traders Association don’t need stadia!
“Look at the Osun crowd! It looks like people they gathered for a wedding reception. I don’t know why Peter Obi is doing this to himself. He went from empty stadia in Kogi and Ekiti, to a wedding reception at a backyard in Osun. No wonder they said ‘e go shock you!”
