‘Avoid religious gatherings that only see bad things’ – Timi Dakolo warns

Timi Dakolo, a popular singer, has urged Nigerians to be cautious of the type of religious gathering in which they find themselves.

People should avoid certain religious gatherings, especially those that only see negativity, according to the father of three.

“Avoid religious gatherings that only see bad things. God didn’t create you and enveloped you in curses and suffering. God loves you. God is love,” he wrote on his verified Instagram page.

Timi Dakolo had previously warned people to be wary of those who lay hands on their heads in the name of prayer.

He stated this in a tweet a few weeks ago on his official Twitter handle.

Dakolo also advised everyone not to let anyone touch their children if they had been careless with themselves in the past.

The singer did not, however, elaborate on what influenced his advice.

He wrote, “It is extremely important that you don’t let any and everybody lay their hand on your head in the name of prayers.

“If you have been careless in the past, make sure it doesn’t happen to your children.”
