Early Life
Dorcas Shola Fapson was (born January 4, 1991), in Tottenham in the United Kingdom, and grew up in North London. She has an older brother who was born in Nigeria in 1989 before her parents moved abroad.
Her mother, Mrs Ruth Oluyemisi Fapohunda, was from a wealthy home. At the same time, her father, born in 1962, could not afford the luxury of life. However, the couple relocated to the United Kingdom to seek a better life.
Their relocation came with challenges, as they did not have the required immigration papers. Yet, they lasted several years without facing the law. The family struggled with finances, and Dorcas’ father had to street hawk, drive cabs, and work as a night security guard to make ends meet and care for his family.
Amidst the struggle and not possessing the required document to be in the United Kingdom, her mother was deported when Dorcas was only two years old. This forced the actress to grow up without her mother.
Also, Dorcas’ parents were involved in a messy divorce around 1993/1994 after her mother returned to Nigeria. The divorce led to her father closing all communication between mother and children. Dorcas grew up hating her mother because her father had told her that her mother abandoned them to return to Nigeria. Unfortunately, the actress only met her mother once after returning to Nigeria in 2005 before her mum died in childbirth.
Education
Dorcas dealt with growing up in the slums of London. She also had to deal with a rough and violent lifestyle. She would also often get herself in fights while attending school in the UK, where she was residing with her father and brother.
Along the line, misbehavior got her kicked out of school. This led to her missing school for about a year before she and her brother were sent back to Nigeria to live with extended family and attend school.
In Nigeria, the Shuga actress attended United Missionary Comprehensive College in Ibadan, Oyo State. After a while, she had to change schools because she kept picking up fights with students.
Dorcas Fapson attended Wisdom Gate High School in Ikeja, Lagos. After her mother’s death, she returned to London to continue schooling.
While in London, she attended the University of Bedfordshire to study Criminology. Afterward, she went to the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in New York on a full scholarship.
Career
She has appeared in series 3 of MTV Shuga as ‘Sophie’ and was the presenter of “The Juice”, an interview series for NdaniTV.
She was in series 3 of MTV Shuga, and she returned as medical expert “Sophie” when it went into a mini-series titled MTV Shuga Alone Together highlighting the problems of Coronavirus in 2020.
The series was written by Tunde Aladese and broadcast for several nights – its backers include the United Nations. The series was based in Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, and Côte d’Ivoire.
The story progresses using online conversations between the characters. Actors including Mohau Cele, Lerato Walaza, Sthandiwe Kgoroge, Uzoamaka Aniunoh, Mamarumo Marokane, and Jemima Osunde did all the filming.

Dorcas Shola Fapson, better known as DSF, a popular Nigerian disc jockey, claimed in a recent interview that her ex-boyfriend, singer Skiibii, stole her phones, laptop, watch, cards, and money while on vacation in Zanzibar.
Remember how DSF and singer Skiibii were busy offending in Fendi a few months ago until she publicly threw shade at her estranged boyfriend, Skiibii?
Since their relationship fell apart, DJ Dorcas Fapson, who is also an actress, and Skiibii have been known to throw shade at each other, with DSF claiming Skiibii is living a fake life. She claims to have fed Skiibii while they were dating. She also stated that dating Skiibii was her biggest mistake because it was a Jazz and not love.

Dorcas said, she agrees, then it becomes a couple trip and they all landed together in Zanzibar and that was just the beginning.
After taking some snaps on his phone that particular day, Dorcas said, Skiibii gives her a drink and she later passed out. She further added that when she woke up in the money, her 2 phones were nowhere to be found including her laptops, credit cards, Rolex watch, and cash among others.
She asserts that Skiibii was so calm although he told her that his chains and watch were also stolen. DSF uttered that Skiibii advised her not to tell anyone about it at that moment.
According to DJ Dorcas Fapson, they left the place, then moved to somewhere else before they finally arrived in Nigeria the next day and she bought a phone.
Surprisingly to her, DJ DSF during the interview with Chude Jideonwo said Skiibii was later spotted with the Rolex wristwatch he claimed was also stolen.
