Erica Nlewedim, a Big Brother Naija Lockdown disqualified ex-housemate, has spoken out against bullying people into supporting a specific candidate ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Some celebrities, including Eniola Badmus, Bimbo Akintola, Toyin Abraham, Foluke Daramola, and other supporters of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, have been bullied in recent weeks over their choice of candidates in the upcoming election.
Speaking out against the act, which has since become common among some social media users, Erica stated that no one deserves to be bullied or forced to support someone they do not want as long as the country has a democratic system of government.
She wrote: “At the end of the day it’s a democracy, no one should be bullied or forced to support anyone.”
