Olori Sekinat Elegushi, the first wife of Oba Saheed Elegushi, Elegushi of Ikate land, has spoken out about her marriage to him.
When asked about cheating in marriage, Olori Sekinat agreed that there is no man who does not cheat. Justifying her husband’s philandering, she stated that all men cheat and that she does not consider it a deal breaker in her marriage.
The monarch’s wife admitted that her husband has girlfriends, but she is unconcerned because she knows she is number one. Her husband, she claims, prioritizes her, and she remains unshaken because she understands her position as his wife.
She went on to say that even when he had a second wife, she was unmoved because she was the first and no one could take her place.
“There is no man that doesn’t cheat. All men cheat. Even though my hubby has girlfriends, he respects me and out me first. No woman can shake me because I know my position as his wife. I remain the first. No one can take my place”.
