Popular singer-songwriter, Temilade Openiyi better known simply as Tems reflects on her blessings days after winning a Grammy Award.
It would be recalled that the sensational Afrobeats musician won her first ever Grammy Award in the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category for her contribution to Future’s “Wait for U”.
Tems took to Twitter a few days after her victory to express her heartfelt gratitude to the Almighty.
She claims to be speechless and unable to express what the Lord has done for her.
She returned all the glory to God who she believes is the reason behind her streak of success.
“What God has done for me, I can’t even speak. All the glory really belongs to Him,” she wrote.
The music act also extended gratitude to her fans who have been unceasingly supporting and rooting for her. She assured them that she doesn’t take their belief and support in her for granted.
“To everyone one that has been supporting me still. Through everything, please know I don’t take it for granted.
I truly appreciate it, the love has been too too much.
