Temilade Openiyi a.k.a Tems, a Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, has revealed that she began her career as a producer.
Nobody wanted to produce songs for her when she was still new, so she decided to learn music production.
Tems stated during an interview on Jazzys World TV that she was her own motivation and that she told herself that she could do it herself.
The songwriter stated that being a producer assisted her in creating the sound she is known for today because she was able to shape her sound the way she desired.
Instead of being relaxed, the Try Me crooner encouraged everyone to be relentless in their pursuit of greatness.
“NO ONE WANTED TO PRODUCE FOR ME BACK THEN AND SO I SAID I CAN DO THIS MYSELF, AND IT MADE ME CREATE MY SOUND,” SHE SAID.
