Just In: Unrest in Mile 12, Ketu over Naira scarcity

There is currently turmoil in the Mile 12, Ketu axis of Lagos State, according to social media reports.

The anger over Naira scarcity continues, with some young taking to the streets to cause disruption.


According to reports, the brawl is still going on between Mile 12 and Ketu, with trucks turning back from Ojota and Ikorodu.


Commuters are strongly recommended to either stay safe or find alternate routes that avoid these regions entirely.

Some Twitter users have gone so far as to advise others to stay away from particular routes. See the tweets below.
