Adekunle Gold’s mum, Folakemi Kosoko, just added another year to her age on March 16, and the singer and wife Simi made it a special one for her.
The celebrity couple took to their respective social media pages with posts dedicated to Mrs Kosoko on her special day.
Simi and Adekunle Gold threw 60th birthday party to mark the occasion.
The music stars gave their Instagram followers a glimpse into how the celebration went down as they shared short clips from the party on their Instastory channels.
They made use of an open space that was colourfully decorated for the guests who came to celebrate with them.
The videos captured the moment the celebrant was ushered into the hall, and danced to the excitement of Simi and the guests.
One of the highlights of the birthday pary so far was when Adekunle Gold performed one of his songs live for his mum.
