Bakare Zainab, a Nollywood actress, has revealed why she enjoys exposing her body on social media.
In an interview with City People TV, the Yoruba actress, who has been chastised for her raunchy photos, stated that she wears what she feels comfortable in.
Her motivation, she claims, is to be comfortable in her dress rather than to expose her body.
Bakare defended herself further by stating that Nigeria’s weather is always hot, which is why she enjoys showing off her skin.
Bakare Zainab reminded her critics in a message that she is an adult and can choose her own outfit. She went on to say that many of her peers her age are already married and living in their husband’s home.
“I wear what I am comfortable in. This isn’t about exposing my body. Fashion isn’t what people think about you, it is what you are comfortable in. Nigeria weather is bad and sometimes I feel hot and sometimes I feel okay. I don’t think it is anybody’s business the way I dress. I am an adult. I am 35 – really! Some of my age mates have given birth in their husband’s house”.
