Nollywood actor cum politician, Desmond Elliot has been blamed by many for the alleged attack by thugs on Labour Party’s House of Assembly Candidate, Olumide Oworu’s campaign Team in Surulere.
Olumide Oworu is contesting for the state House of Assembly ticket against his senior colleague and APC candidate, Desmond Elliot.
Desmond Elliot who has been in the Lagos State House since April 2015 till date, has been dragged to shreds for being complicit in the attack.
In a video that has now gone viral, a woman is captured lamenting how thugs reportedly attacked their venue as they were about to start campaigning and started snatching belongings, using knives and other dangerous items. A photo of a man who was injured has also been shared online.
In another video, a lady could be heard explaining that the campaign vehicle was reportedly smashed by thugs.
