Idowu Akinsanya, better known as King Westt, the son of MC Oluomo, has attacked the Labour Party’s governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, and award-winning singer of P-Square group, Peter Okoye.
Akinsanya slammed Rhodes-Vivour, who ran alongside the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Instagram. MC Oluomo’s son described Rhodes-Vivour as a “big scammer” because he goes by different names.
When Rhodes-Vivour was studying abroad, he identified as Patrick, when he is with the Igbos, he is Chinedu, and when he is with the Yorubas, he is Gbadebo. Making light of the situation, Akinsanya joked that Gbadebo needs one more name in case he ends up among the Northerners.
Taking a jab at Peter Okoye of PSquare, Akinsanya requested that the latter leave his father, MC Oluomo, alone and focus on his own career. “He isn’t the solution to your family problems,” he also said.
Akinsanya went on to jubilate about the already assured victory of governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and requested that anyone who is not happy with the way the election turn out move to Benin City. He wrote, Sanwo-Olu… Sanwo-Eko… If you no gree, dey go Benin… Congratulations my governor, Lagos no go spoil”.
