Ex-BBNaija housemate and singer, Tope Adebuniyan, popularly known as Teddy A, has reacted to the snub of Anikulapo lead actor, Kunle Remi by the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, AMVCA.
Recall that actor, Kunle Afolayan’s 2022 movie, Anikulapo received the highest number of nominations at the 2023 edition of Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
Even though the movie was nominated in 15 different categories with 16 nominations, Anikulapo lead actor Kunle Remi didn’t get one nomination.
Shading the organisers of the award ceremony for omitting Remi’s name despite his role in the movie, Teddy A in an Instagram post queried if the lead actor’s snub was a result of an interview where he spilt some secrets.
He wrote, “Congrats to all the AMVCA nominees but how didn’t Kunle Remi get any nominations after what we all saw in Anikulapo? why did they omit @kunleremiofficial?
”Was it because of THAT interview? I’m just asking respectfully.”
