Chelsea join race to sign Messi following PSG ordeal

Lionel Messi Accepts 2 Years PSG Deal, set to be unveiled next week

English Premier League club, Chelsea are reportedly making a move for Lionel Messi in the summer after it was confirmed that the Argentine star will leave Paris Saint-Germain, Daily Mail reports.

Messi  was suspended for two weeks without pay after missing a training session without permission.

Chelsea know a deal for Messi may not be possible for Barcelona, having slashed their wage bill by £180 million to meet strict LaLiga rules.

The Blues were previously linked with Messi during the Roman Abramovich era.

But Football London claims the club have renewed their interest under new owner Todd Boehly.

The club is having a disastrous season, with the team currently sitting 12th in the Premier League.
