The struggle for fuel in Nigeria continues after the president announced that there will no longer be any fuel subsidies.
Yvonne Jegede, a Nollywood actress, stated that she almost got into a battle with an Agbero in Lagos while trying to obtain petrol at one of the stations.
She stated that they were informed that there is no petrol. They will not leave because they know the station has fuel. Yvonne Jegede fought to enter the station, but she made sure she obtained the fuel by any means necessary.
What made her put so much effort into getting the fuel is because of her son who will complain that he is hot, so she will need to put on the generator for him to feel comfortable. She said he won’t want to hear anything like a fuel issue, so she had to make sure she get it.
