Pre-wedding images of Queen Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda, the new wife of Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, have surfaced online.
The photographs show the Ife monarch and his new wife sitting and standing by his side.
On May 20, 2023, Queen Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmude will be officially welcomed into the Ife palace. She will join the ranks of Ooni’s wives such as Queen Mariam, Queen Ashley, Queen Tobi Philips, and others.
Creebhills revealed a few hours ago that Ooni of Ife married a new wife just days after his previous wives raised a commotion online. It was revealed that the Ife king married Queen Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda as his sixth wife.
Although no images of the wedding have surfaced online, the couple supposedly married a long time ago. According to City People, the Ooni royals’ relatives and friends have been invited to the Thanksgiving service, which will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
The occasion will be preceded by the Queen’s ceremonial entry into Ile-Ife’s old Ife Oodua Palace on Thursday.
