The mother of Kylian Mbappe, Fayza Lamari, has come under fire from Alejandro Camano, the agent of PSG player Achraf Hakimi, for starting a football agency.
In addition to being teammates for the Parisians, Hakimi and Mbappe are good friends.
Lamari could not possibly represent Hakimi, according to Camano.
Speaking to RMC Sport, Camano insisted that being the mother of a star player was insufficient and that a player of Achraf’s caliber should not be involved with the agency because of its lack of expertise.
“We are surprised that the one and only fact of being the mother of an important player allows her to interfere in the market.
“He has been convinced of the project for many years, and he has a friendly relationship with Kylian that we respect.
“Being a player’s mother is not enough. It seems to me to be a lack of respect for the profession. There are great agents who deal in a very tough and very difficult market. We think that it’s wrong that there is no chance (of Hakimi joining Mbappe’s mother).”
Camano also said that Mbappe is the only known player who’s a part of Lamari’s agency.
