US-Based Nigeria actor, Bigvai Jokotoye has addressed rumors of his involvement in colleagues, Bukola Arugba and Damilola Olatunji’s breakup saga.
Bukola announced her split from Olatunji via her Instagram page on Tuesday.
A letter issued by Spring Worth Law Firms, Bukola’s lawyers, claimed the pair were never married — after eight years of being together.
Shortly after their split went viral, BBC NEWS YORUBA, shared a throwback photo, showing Bigvai and Bukola in a loving embrace.
Fans, in the comment section, speculated that Bigvai, who is based in United States, and Bukola are ex-lovers.
They alleged that Bukola recently moved to the United States to reconcile with him, which subsequently led to her officially breaking up with Damilola Olatunji.
Addressing the rumors, Bigvai re-shared the viral picture and comments, asserted that the photo was taken from a moive where Bukola acted as his girlfriend, some years back.
He wrote;
” So, @bbcnewsyoruba posted my old picture with @oluwabukola_arugba on the set of “Aja EKo” directed by @donricharddonking my boss. She was my girlfriend in this old movie, shot over 12 years ago……….Read some comments under the post, many, many were (mad people) dey this world sha😂😂😂🙌🏻.”
