“I Absolutely Don’t Care” Gavi Reacts To Real Madrid’s signing of Bellingham

Real Madrid has been making significant signings in a bid to reclaim the La Liga title that they lost during the 2022-23 season, whereas Barcelona has been rather quiet on the transfer front in recent weeks.

Fran Garcia and Brahim Diaz joined the team from Rayo Vallecano and AC Milan, respectively, and Jude Bellingham’s high-profile signing was also announced last week.

Despite this, Gavi told MD that he is unconcerned about Real Madrid’s transfer strategy and that he and his teammates would meet them again in all tournaments next season.

Gavi speaking: “Barca is not currently in the finest financial situation, but we have a fantastic team and several very strong young players who have come out of the academy.

I don’t absolutely care who Real Madrid signs; they can do whatever they want. We have our own players, and we will always sacrifice everything to prevail”.’

As Xavi Hernandez’s team looks to compete on all fronts in 2023–24, Barcelona is anticipated to be active in the transfer market this summer and will be hopeful of movement of their own in the coming weeks.
