Why Pastor Chris can never be my friend – Apostle Suleman

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, has explained why he would never be friends with pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

On the second day of the Holy Ghost Conference 2023, which was live-streamed on the YouTube account of his church, the divisive preacher spoke to the crowd.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Christ Embassy was the subject of Apostle Johnson Suleman’s sermon.

He explained to his audience why, despite his respect for Pastor Chris, he could not be friends with him.

He continued by putting his viewpoint into context by relating a recent chat with Reverend John, who had just taken part in a pastor’s classroom conference.

By the end of the conference, over 110 million pastors had enrolled for the program, according to Reverend John, who told Apostle Suleman that over 103 million people had already registered online.

He implied that Pastor Chris was above him in status by asking how he could host such a sizable gathering.

While he had no ill will against Pastor Chris, he believed that they were not on the same level and it prevented him from being his friend.

“Then I will now stand beside such a man and say, he is my friend? Never! Pastor Chris can’t be my friend. When you want to grow, stop equating yourself with those who have grown. I am not in his class. He is on a different world. Are you trying to say that God can’t use little things to correct him? God knows who He sends little things to for correction”, he wrote.
